Continuing the family tradition, Stephen is the newest member at Kallman Legal Group.
He started his judicial career as a Circuit Court Commissioner (now District Judge) in 1960. He was appointed by then Governor George Romney as Ingham County Probate Court Judge in 1963, and he served there for 10 years. He was then elected as an Ingham County Circuit Court Judge and served for almost 20 years and retired in 1991.
Darius Moon was a well known architect in Michigan in the late 19th century. He designed many of the beautiful homes in Downtown Lansing. The Kallman Legal Group is privileged to use a Darius Moon home as its main office.
Kallman Legal Group has been working out of the Darius Moon home since the Fall of 2001.

Adoption Law covers all areas of adoption including State and Federal Subsidies. Adoptions in Michigan are typically handled through the county Probate and/or Family Court. Various adoption subsidies are available to families depending on the needs of the child as long as the criteria to receive the subsidy is met.
We have handled numerous cases of wrongful adoption where the adoptive parents were not informed of the child's special needs or illnesses. As a result, the parents are left on their own to try and meet the needs of the child. Further, the parents are wrongfully deprived of adoption subsidies to help cover these expenses.
Kallman Legal Group has experience in filing the necessary actions in order to receive the subsidies for their child. You may be entitled to receive retroactive subsidy payments back to the date of the adoption.
