Continuing the family tradition, Stephen is the newest member at Kallman Legal Group.
He started his judicial career as a Circuit Court Commissioner (now District Judge) in 1960. He was appointed by then Governor George Romney as Ingham County Probate Court Judge in 1963, and he served there for 10 years. He was then elected as an Ingham County Circuit Court Judge and served for almost 20 years and retired in 1991.
Darius Moon was a well known architect in Michigan in the late 19th century. He designed many of the beautiful homes in Downtown Lansing. The Kallman Legal Group is privileged to use a Darius Moon home as its main office.
Kallman Legal Group has been working out of the Darius Moon home since the Fall of 2001.

We formed and established the first charter school in Michigan, Noah Webster Academy. We were the trial attorneys in the People v DeJonge (442 Mich 266, 501 NW2d 127) case that ultimately resulted in a Michigan Supreme Court decision securing the right of parents to teach their children at home. We have been the Michigan counsel for the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) since 1983, and represented hundreds of home schooling families over the years.
